Hong Kong's star cyclist Wong Kam-po, Asiad champion, will be the last torchbearer.

The announcement was made by the Hong Kong Sports federation and Olympic Committee in conjunction with the Hong Kong Special Administration Region Government.

Female windsurfer Lee Lai-shan, who won the first-ever Olympic gold medal for Hong Kong in the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, will start the torch relay Friday morning. She said she was honored to be the first torchbearer in Hong Kong.

One-third of the 120 torchbearers for Friday's relay will be Hong Kong's athletes. The rest will include politicians, businessmen and entertainment figures.
